Dark red to brown color, small redish head. Strong aroma of cherries. Taste also cherries dominant, light sour, dry and light bitter. Alcohol well hidden.

'Rouge' is French for red or amber. That is why this lovely and fruity beer is called Kasteel Rouge. By the way, did you know that the Van Honsebrouck is the only Belgian brewery located in an ancient castle. This is why this beer is called 'Kasteel', Dutch for Castle. This beer contains sugar, sweetener, barley malt and wheat.
