Gueuze Dark Cuvée René Cognac BA is a bold and innovative lambic from Lindemans, characterized by its deep dark color thanks to roasted wheat. The blend of lambics matures for two years in oak casks and then gets an additional year in 20-year-old Cognac barrels. This produces a complex aroma of ripe apples, Cognac, wood smoke and oak. The taste offers fresh acidity, soft malt sweetness and warm, spicy Cognac notes, rounded off with a long, elegant finish. A masterful gueuze for the adventurous connoisseur.
