More about this Chimay Red (Premiere) beer

Mahogany color with off-white head. Nice spicy aroma with some estery fruitiness. The taste is awesome with spice, banana and a hint of caramel, very little alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, slightly sweet.

The Scourmont abbey / brewery created this wonderful brew and proudly presents this product at our online store. Chimay Red Premiere is dark coloured and has quite a full and creamy head. This glorious craft beer has a beautiful body and a wonderful aroma.

The Scourmont abbey, in the southern part of Belgium, is known for their famous Chimay Trappist beers. In this abbey monks still brew these delicious and colourful beers. This Chimay Premiere is dark coloured with a strong aroma. We advise you to serve this beer cold and in a matching beer glass.

Very nice Trappist beer. Full bodied and wheat-y sweetness at the same time.
